The Women's Bright Hour is a mid-week meeting, held in Christ Church hall, at 2.30 pm on alternate Tuesdays throughout the year, except for August.

It is run on the lines of an informal service, with hymns, bible reading, prayer and a talk by a speaker or the leader of the meeting. There is time for tea and fellowship in a friendly atmosphere.

These meetings were started in January l934 and there have been many leaders, secretaries and treasurers over the years.

We attend the Spring Rally of the URC each year and support the work of the Leprosy Mission.
